During this treatment, a small amount of blood (350cc) is gently withdrawn, infused with medical-grade ozone, and then returned to the bloodstream. This process supports oxygen utilization, circulation, and immune balance while introducing the body to ozone therapy in a controlled, entry-level way. MAH treatments are often recommended as the starting point for patients new to ozone and are required prior to advancing to more intensive therapies such as EBOO.
